Scenic-Beautiful Khassab

Khassab Fort-Oman,This is a fort city at the Musandam Peninsula.Some of my beautiful experiences are put onto in the form of pictures taken during my family visit.We were told by the local people that initially Khassab was a small fishing village surrounded by mountains and serene beaches.The highest mountain peak is more than 2000 meters.There are dhow cruise with possibility to see the Dolphins & swim with them.
Dolphins are known to radiate lots of positive energy.

You will need a 4 W drive to enjoy the journey if your traveling from Dubai towards Oman.
The drive is excellent & advisable to travel by road.
There is variety of local sea food available with wide variety of grills...I am a vegetarian but still loved the local food.

A two day trip is good to explore the small khassab village.

Beautiful Hatta Dam & kayaking:a refreshing experience

Kayak means  a small, narrow watercraft which is propelled by means of a double-bladed paddle. In UAE there is a beautiful spot for boating and kayaking.It is quick drive from Dubai.The dam is surrounded by beautiful mountains.Take your car and drive along the dam. There are few photos which were taken during my visit. The boating experience is amazing and provides a very calm environment from the busy city life. The best times are during winters after September until March , although i have personally visited during summers also,the temperature is cooler than city by at-least 3-4 degrees. Great place for photographers -stunning views awaited. Pack your bags ,shades, water bottles, take some karak chai and sandwiches along.Watch the beautiful mountains & water as the sun sets.
